A rOOm without bOOks is like a body without a soul.
I have known Abenav, partly through others’ information & points of view, partly through being witness to aspects of his life and partly through my own philosophical view of his acts and decisions. I have known him always struggling to find his space. I have seen him fight against social norms and so-called universally accepted principles of life. I have appreciated him, judged him and opposed him on different occasions. What truly stands out is his ability to carry all what he gets and keep moving ahead in life. He has endured the agony and guilt that has, in many situations, been the result of his choices.
Now, I know him as a free spirit who was always meant to be happy and complete in himself. Having plenty to learn, experience and give back, he started his own journey without any resentments, guilt or fear. This text is one of his first few (and many to come!) steps in exploring the art of expressing and creating a prism through which many will be able to see varied facets of his life and possibly learn and experience with their own interpretations.
People around him might have taken some time to understand his journey, but I am sure he will certainly leave a mark in his readers’ mind at the very first go and create an unquenchable longing for more from him!
Hi, my name is Abhinav. I was just another next door guy who wanted to live a normal life. But life is unpredictable. It often pushes you towards your fear. And the same happened to me. I have always been a curious one. And that took me to places and experiences. I used to play Tabla at a very early age. While doing graduation, I was introduced to different music styles. With the help of folks and friends, I became resident DJ and then later Sound Engineer. But finding no niche in that, I started working as an Acoustic Consultant. My family helped me big time to get my Masters degree from the University of Salford, Manchester. With time, I started travelling and that is when I realized that each one of us is carrying a universe along with us in the form of mind. A very powerful Mind!
Coming from an orthodox family, it was not easy to break the monotony to be someone different than a Teacher or a Doctor. But I have been Lucky and Blessed. Every tribe has different beliefs and I knew that I resonate with a tribe who are natural givers and old souls. I got absorbed by people of my tribe easily and somewhere I was certain that I am about to unleash the parallel world which I always dreamed of. And it happened. My experiences impacted many lives and unknowingly I was guiding people to the light from their own darkness. This is when I decided to become an Author and later persuade my journey to become a Book Designer. My family always taught me that if you know something, go out and share with the world. Learn the art of giving. Nothing more, nothing less.
